Ever watched a television programme and wished you’d taped it so you could use it – or just part of it – with your pupils in class the following day?

The new on-demand service from the BBC allows you to download programmes to your computer for a period of time (approximately a month) – and you can watch the programmes as many times as you like for seven days after your first viewing. A broadband connection is required.

You need to register with the BBC for the iPlayer service and must download the player/library software itself to your computer.

This is all straightforward and FREE!!!!!

There’s an absolute wealth of fantastic programmes to support teaching and learning making this a definite must-have application for modern, media-rich classrooms.
