Co:Writer training

The ATS Service is hosting a training day on Co:Writer on Friday 24th November.

Co:Writer is a powerful prediction package that is used alongside a word processor to support pupils who experience writing difficulties. The software is used by dyslexics, students with physical/motor impairments, and those with visual or hearing impairments. Being able to quickly produce accurately spelled text with minimal keystrokes is highly motivating and rewarding for those who struggle with writing.

Word completion

Spelling support – enhanced by Flexible Spelling that predicts words from pupils’ phonetic attempts at a word. For example, ‘elfant’ would be enough for Co:Writer to offer ‘elephant’.
